Through our Agency, students can take their talents out into the real world and immediately work events like Phoenix Fashion Week. Our specialized training in Special Effects, Fantasy, and Costume makeup equips students with extensive knowledge in these captivating areas, with high-quality Special FX makeup from Krylon, Mehron, and more included in our kit.
In every class and every day, students learn new techniques that they are encouraged to perfect both in and out of class. We advocate that our students create social media accounts to showcase their work, providing them with professional training that allows them to work in all areas of makeup design.

Salpie, Program Director of MAXIMA Makeup Artistry, has over 30 years of experience in the makeup industry. Her passion for the craft of makeup design has been her driving force since day one. After graduating from the Joe Blasco School of Makeup Artistry, she embarked on her career as a makeup artist and never looked back.
Salpie holds degrees in Fashion Design and Marketing and has contributed to numerous projects in the entertainment industry, including feature films, print photography, and television. Her work has even been featured on several news channels in segments related to beauty and makeup. Salpie’s exceptional talent and dedication have earned her an Emmy Nomination for her makeup design.
Beyond her impressive career, Salpie has always made time for charitable work, reflecting her deep commitment to giving back to the community. Her love for the makeup industry is evident in her passion for helping other passionate individuals succeed in the field.
